TMPR02 - 58.2mm Brass + Banksia Serrata

Espresso and native species collide.

This tamper combines a precision machined brass base with a unique timber handle - turned by hand in our Leichhardt studio. This is heirloom quality goodness. Something to give the grandkids

The tree that produced this timber was an Old Man Banksia - Banksia serata. It fell rather inconveniently onto a farm fence at Peats Ridge. It was a hassle at the time, and I blame the sandy soil, but rest assured that its progeny lives on. Cattle are now fenced out of the area and seedlings have stopped being munched.
